Position Assessment: I really enjoy being in the new position I am. It's a lot more fun because I get to work with people that like similar things to me. But as far as work has gone we have been getting to know each other a lot. We have already gone through club rush and that was a huge success for us. We had a lot of signups for everything and I think we are going to have a great Powder Puff this year. I'm really looking forward to what it ends up being. We also have done our 2 posts for Athlete of the Month. This was a little hectic because we weren't informed that we were doing one for August. But we got it done and they look pretty good. They can look a lot better but it was our first one and it was a little rushed. Septembers Athlete of the month is going to be a lot better.
Standing Committee: I am not apart of a standing committee at this moment.
Special Committee: For a special committee this month I was apart of decorations for the black light rally. My job was to set up during my fourth period and make sure everything looked good and solid. Then I sat next to a couple black lights making sure they weren't going to get damaged. I did a good job at the and then after the rally I stayed and re packaged the lights and got them back to Morty's office.
Mentorship evaluation: I have gotten to know about my mentor a little bit. We got a lot closer at our training. We talked about our love life and what we like to do. She has helped me with some of the assignments and always checks up on me. We can actually like bond and get to know each other and I look forward to this year with her.
Concerns: I still have some concerns about this year, one being a lack of communication from some of the people in the program. Like for the rally I wasn't sure if I was getting out early from fourth or getting out of fourth. It was just a little annoying and frustrating but we will work through it. We will work out all the kinks.
Positive Comment: This positive comment goes out to Mack. She is working so hard and tell that she wants to make this year a very good year. She changed the positions around and got rid of some of the events that didn't do very well for us or even added some new ones. I know that this year will be a good one, especially if she can keeps up the good work.
One Change: One change I would like to see in the program is every sharing opinions and influencing people. We really only have a couple consistent people who share. And I need to work on this too. It's just something I want to see happen.
My Impact: This month I have given back when helping to clean up with the dance. Whenever I'm in the community I try to give back. Like a week ago I was in the Savemart Parking Lot and I put all of the extra carts away. I walked up each and every aisle and put the carts away. I always try to make people's jobs easier and help out where I can.

Position Assessment: Over the last couple of months, athletics has been busy with homecoming. Homecoming brings us Powder Puff. This is a very large event put on by Athletics. We had been preparing for it for weeks prior. We split up the work as evenly as we could. Throughout this whole time, I'm still in training. So, trying to figure out what I was doing was a little stressful, but I had some great people to teach me the ropes. I was personally in charge of the cheerleaders, Kade was in charge of Seniors & Freshman, and Ava was in charge of Juniors & Sophomores. This was a lot easier for all of us. We were able to rely on each other's and get everything done. We got everything set up and the event ran extremely well. We had an amazing turn out and got many praises by the community and the student body for putting on a great event.
Standing Committee: I was not a part of any standing committee at this time.
Special Committee: I was a part of Homecoming decorations and publicity; we were given many tasks and I got mine done before the due date and made sure they all looked good. This brought in many different people and groups to be involved with homecoming and I feel everyone in the group did an amazing job.
Mentorship Evaluation: With all crazy going on with homecoming, we haven't been able to do much. I've spent a lot of my time with athletics and making sure we get all the paperwork done and over with. And she's been busy with being the president of the Junior Class. But before homecoming we have gotten to know each other a little more.
Concerns: My only concern at the moment is not everyone in the program is building good relationships. Some people are still super closed off. And leadership is also about building relationships. You will really build amazing, lifelong relationships with some people in leadership.
Positive Comment: One positive comment is that all the upper-class men are so easy to talk to and are super chill. They are super inviting, and they will help you with whatever. I really like to see this.
One Change: One change I would like to see is everyone be on the same page. I understand that we were all under an incredible amount of stress but everyone being on the same page is crucial. Events can be ruined when people aren't on the same page. This is an easy change and if I had to blame in on something it on it would be Homecoming.
My Impact: With me being a commissioner I am not required to help with my class. But I offered when I was available and was able to help them with the float and all things Homecoming. I feel like I was a big help and took some of the stress off of them. I also helped set up and clean up the Halloween dance put on by the freshman. I have tried to help everyone in the process of Homecoming.

Position Assessment: As far as athletics go we haven’t been up to much, we have talked about how to make dodgeball a little bit neater and more organized. We are planning to all be on the same page for all events. But other than that we have all been involved with our classes and just trying to help out wherever. But we are wanting to be ahead on all things in the near future of athletics.

Dude Be Nice: As far as Dude Be Nice went, I helped out with choosing our dudette. I was forced to keep this a secret and I had to go to her class every day and not say a word. It was very hard. I had made a handwritten letter to give to the dudette. When it came down to the actual announcement I helped out with the Rally. I walked for the acknowledgement and delivered my cards. She had no idea and was so surprised. We even brought out her dad and he surprised her at the rally. It was a great time for everyone.
Standing Committee: I was not a part of any standing committee’s at this time.
Special Committee: For a special committee I’m going to talk about my Casl group. For our Casl group our topic was “How does your program promote a heart for service among the student body?” We started off with just putting our ideas down on paper. A couple of examples were the Grand Marshall we do and Dude Be Nice. We feel like we have incorporated a lot of things. Dillian is just converting everything to paragraph form now.
Positive Comment: I was sick for most of last week and I want to just say thank you to everyone who checked on me. A lot of people had sent me thoughtful comments and really made my day. And the communication between everything was really good. I was at home and was not in the dark at all. With all the emails and reminds. I knew everything that was going on in class.
Change I would like to see: I would like to see more people using the work days. But with the implementation of the daily debrief I think it will really help. I think it will keep more people on track and focused. I just want to see more productivity.
Concerns: Some concerns I have is the lack of productivity. Even though I have slacked off a couple of times. But in leadership we have a lot of work and I'm just concerned that we won’t get everything done. And we might finish it but is it helping the student body? That’s our job.
My Impact: I have signed up for the community service project November 18th. I have also helped many elderly families on my court hang up their Christmas lights. But I’m looking forward to cleaning up Colony Oak on Friday.

ASB Meeting December
Position Assessment: As far as athletics go we have been up to a whole lot. We have been over what we are wanting to accomplish with dodgeball and I have a feeling it is going to be very good this year. We have talked about it a decent amount over that last couple of weeks. We did take our video for the introduction video with Gideon and Spencer. That went pretty well. But as most of our actual work goes we have just been doing all the assignments and helping our classes. It has been pretty chill for athletics but for classes we have been assisting a lot. Especially with Winterfest. I was all I could be at trying to help out wherever. I also assisted formal with the sophomore class.
Standing Committee: I was not a part of a standing committee at this point in time.
Special Committee: I was a part of door decorating this year. I was in Abby Campos’s group. Although I was not there to put the wrapping paper up on the doors. I helped measure out the door and get them cut to have a more efficient way of putting them up.
Mentorship Evaluation: My mentorship has been ok. I haven’t been able to sit with Kylee because she hasn’t been here. I hope she’s ok, hopefully she’s not sick. But she still makes sure I’m doing good and checks up on me. She looks out for me too and with anything I need help with she is there to help me.
Concerns: I have one concern and it’s with how many people are getting sick. So hopefully they can get all caught up on the work they miss. But everything is going pretty well in the class. And events are going and looking amazing.
Positive Comment: We have had a lot of work days and I feel our events are going a lot better and a lot less stressful. I’m happy to see that class getting along so happily.
One Change: I would like to see people actually using the work days for work. A lot of people just sit there and do nothing which is going to end up giving us more work to do. If everyone would work hard then we would all have less work.
My Impact: My Impact in December was setting up and cleaning up Formal. I spent most of my day there and I’m happy to hear from people that they had a good time. Hopefully we can keep up the good work.

Position Assessment: The Athletics Commissioners have been busy recently. We have begun the foundation of dodgeball, and it is really coming along nicely. We have been working extremely well together and this event is going to be very smooth. We are wanting this tournament to be more organized and flow better with the student body. I know that many kids are looking forward to the event and seriously can’t wait for it.

We have been working extremely well together and this event is going to be very smooth. We are wanting this tournament to be more organized and flow better with the student body. I know that many kids are looking forward to the event and seriously can’t wait for it.
Standing Committee: This month I was a part of two different standing committees. One of them being the dodgeball sign-ups for the actual tournament and the other being PVC Old to Mini project. So, the dodgeball sign ups have been good, all we need to do is make the google form and go from there. The PVC old-mini is still in the workshop. Morty just brought it up to us and it sounds like a really good idea. Basically, we would be turning all of the outdated PVC holders into new, more sturdy holders. But this is a very expensive project, so it might not happen any time soon.
Special Committee: I am a part of a special committee as well. I am a part of the challenge committee; we haven’t actually started anything for it since it’s so far in advance.
Mentorship Evaluation: Jaydin and I have actually really gotten to know each other. She is very kind and hears me out. For the assignment that Morty gave us, we went to Coffee House for lunch, and we talked about our futures. She let me know about her dream job and how soccer has been going. She also filled me in on all of the stress that graduating comes with.
Concern: I am a little concerned for elections. The only reason I say this is because people might get upset if they don’t get in and this could cause people to not work very hard or just give up.
Positive Comment: Winterfest looked amazing, I felt like it was a lot of hard work, but it all paid off. The school and all the posters and shopping carts looked amazing. So, everyone should give themselves a pat on their back.
One Change: One change I would like to see is everyone participating in class decisions. I really need to work on this as well but everyone deserves to be heard. No one should feel judged.
My Impact: I worked alongside the rest of my class with winter fest. I helped with the bleacher poster as well as the window and shopping cart. I feel like I can say the work we put out was very good.

Formal ASB Report
- The committee’s I have been a part of for the challenge are the Gift to Teachers and Gift to Students. For the Gift to teachers, we haven’t done much because we are waiting for the materials to come in. We really want to do a good job on it. As for the Gift to students. We met on Monday and went over everything. I was incharge of asking LJ for the tables and chairs, he hasn’t gotten back to me but I’m hoping to catch him in person. I have also helped Ximena with ordering the decorations and anything else anybody needs.
- I have contributed to contacting LJ and hopefully locking down some of the materials needed for the dance. Like I said earlier I also helped in ordering decorations and creating an incentive for them to come. I want a good outcome and for the slide show, I have conversated with Mak about our slide. Our slide is about the date and location of it. We have already talked about what we want it to look like.
- During the week of the challenge I will be confirming with LJ about the tables, I will also be doing the fencing for the dance. I am a part of the group for it and will be making sure the space for the dance is good. We will be making an area for the dance to be held and for kids to have the most fun.
- Some pros I saw this week was the bonding that I saw everyone creating. As I looked around the room, I saw people just enjoying each other and laughing. They were working together and creating a sort of bond that is unbreakable. In other words the leadership class is becoming a leadership family.
- Some cons I saw this week was people enjoying themselves so much that they weren’;t getting all of the work done. But sometimes people need to just have because we can always rely on each other to get things done. We have a sort of trust that when things need to be done they will get done.
- In the formal presentation to Morty on Monday, I will be speaking with Mak. We have the slide of the introduction to everything and the date and location. We will be taking turns speaking and making sure we have correct attire and speak loud enough for everyone to hear. And make sure we know the content.
- My overall opinion of the event is very good. I have very high expectations and think this event will be very well put together and amazing. We have thought about every single little detail. I just hope we can accomplish everything we say that we are going to. It’s up to us from now on. But I have very high expectations.
- I have faith in this class to pull through. I have my trust in every single one of my classmates. I know that we have what it takes to fully pull through and accomplish everything that we are wanting to do. I have a feeling that we will be working until the final moment but we will get through it and create a good event.
- The students that do not complete their role should be held accountable by their peers. But I think it’s more of a class project so we all go down with the ship. But everyone is more than capable of completing their job and if they are overwhelmed we can take some of the load off and just be there to help them.
- My favorite aspect of this assignment/project is the trust bestowed upon us to fulfill the needs of the school. I like the responsibility that hangs on our shoulders. I also like that we get a better perspective of how much work putting on an event is. We see some of it with normal events built with the challenge we see the entire thing.

Position Assessment: Athletics was up to a lot with dodgeball, but since then we haven't been up to much. We have been contributing to the athlete of the month as well as helping our classes out with anything they need. I have also been helping out Morty and Kade with the PVC transformation, it has been a long process, but it all seems to be doing well and everything is working out. For the most part. The process is very time consuming and very tedious. It first starts with Kade asking Morty the measurements and then us having to slowly cut them. It's been a very long process. I'm just trying to stick it out, we are just about done with the year.
Standing Committee: I have a part of the fencing committee. This was the only standing committee that I was apart in the months of April and May. AS far as actual work, we have done practically nothing, but Kade has taken over most of the reminders to Rangel and it sounds like everything is going to go well for the end of the school year dance.
Special Committee: I was a part of the PVC transformation project. Kade is the leader of this committee and I just follow whatever he tells me to do. And so far we have cut down all the old, broken pieces and we have started to cut them to size. These will be used as sturdier, longer lasting holders for dances and whatever else the are needed for. These will be much better than the flimsy PVC walls.
Mentorship Evaluation: My mentor is much better than my one last semester. And I'm so happy to call Jayden mu mentor. She is so amazing, like I can go to her whenever I need her, and we talk a lot. We are very good friends and I'm super excited and also very sad that she won't be there next year. I will miss her so much. We have cried together, got over track workouts. Nothing will ever hurt this friendship.
Concerns: Some concerns that I have is people checking out and not doing anything for the rest of the year. I would like to say this won't happen, but I'm even dealing with it. It's so hard when the finish line is so close yet so far. But I'm just hoping that this doesn't happen.
Positive Comment: I would just like to shout out all the student athletes, we are dealing with a very important time in track and then coming home and getting all the work done. We are truly scholar athletes, and I wouldn't trade these memories for anything in this world.
One Change: One change I would like to see is more class unity. We are not super close, like I would like to be able to walk up to anybody in the class and have a conversation with them, but some people I barley even know. So, I would just like to see the class become one and unify together in the last month.
My Impact: I have contributed a lot to the program, but I have also given back to the community. I participated in the Love Ripon community service project. And helped out at Colony Oak and beautified the school and made sure all the safety regulations were made.
