ASB Report August 2021 |
Position Assessment: The new Freshman class has been through a little of the hardship thus far. Some of the Freshman Representatives were able to make it to Core Camp. The Reps that were there made a strong bond and we had a great time. I feel that I have helped my group out in many ways, I provided supplies for Pow Wow and put my time into working for the program. When Club Rush hit I helped both days and brought food to the group that was working. I'm looking forward to this year and the years to come.
Standing Committee: One Standing committee that I'm a part of is fencing. So every school event that needs to be fenced off is something that is apart of the committee. We just fence off anything that we don't want people going too. This committee is very important because I keep the school clean.
Special Committee: One special committee that I was apart of was Pow Wow supplies. We made a supplies page that everyone needed to pitch into to make the event a good event. We all put a lot of effort into it and made a good event. We got a lot of participation from the school as well.
Mentorship Evaluation: Throughout the year we were matched up with our mentors. My partner was Devin, he has helped me night and day. I would text him with a problem and within seconds he would answer. He has been a great person to be partnered up with. He is great and taught me the ropes and I'm getting my mojo back. He really showed me how loving the leadership family is.
Concerns: One of my main concerns would be lack of participation from some members in the group. We have had some problems with participation and we were able to bounce back but it just got on my nerves. I hate when people say they will be there and then just not keep there word.
Positive Comment: A positive comment that I have is how much information I get even as a freshman rep. The group really helps and makes sure we all have our bearing before they go and do their work. It's a great system and works very well.
One Change: One change I would like to see is more involvement from the upperclassmen to the younger members of the class. We really only talk to a couple of upperclassmen and it's kind of hard to make those connections if we don't talk to them.
My Impact: I help wherever needed and whenever needed. I'm there to take some of the stress off of upperclassmen and advisors. I try to involve the whole school and try to make the experience for others enjoyable. That's my job as a Freshman Representative.

ASB Formal Report October 2021
The freshman class made it through their first homecoming. This came with a lot more stress than any of the upperclassmen put on. We made it through our first dance with a smile on our faces. We all made it through with smiles on our faces. We went through the Back to School Dance which was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. It had a lot of participation from the student body. When the dance was over everyone left, except for the helpful one’s along with the Leadership class. We got everything put away and got to go home. I feel I helped my class out by helping setting up and getting supplies for them. I also helped pick up after the fact. I feel everyone in the class helped dramatically during this. During this event I was apart of the fencing committee which was a standing committee. We helped set up fencing to keep the kids inside the perimeters of the dance. During this event I was not a part of a special committee. I had some concerns about how the event went. When we were setting up I noticed a lot of people were just standing around. I feel next time we only have half the class to go and set up. One positive comment I had was how well the cleanup went. We had a lot of help from the student body when cleaning up. One change I would like to see would just be less people on the set up team, because we had a lot of people just standing around. My impact was helping wherever it was needed. This is in my job description. I feel this event went smoothly and according to plan. This was a well held event by the seniors. Then we hit homecoming week. First I had Powder Puff where I cheered. I had practice for two weeks before that, giving up my lunch and time. When the day came we had a great performance and got the crowd going. Unfortunately wasn’t able to be a part of the boxes or risers committee because of the cheer. For this event I was not a part of a special committee or a standing committee. Then the big day came, Friday. We worked all night Thursday to put the best float out there. During this event, I was a part of a special committee of building the main building. I had to piece up cardboard to make the buildings the best I could. I would then either paint or use poster board to color them. I was not a part of a standing committee during this event. During this event, I had some major concerns. Some people didn’t put in any effort towards the float at all. Or some people didn’t want to stay late because we had school in the morning when we were working on the float. One positive comment I have is the determination of a lot of people in the class. Willing to do anything to get the job done. I would like to see the same amount of effort out of everyone in the group. I impacted the float when I stayed late to help or woke up early to see if we needed anything, and being the star of the float. The freshman class have been through a little more of the hardship, but we prepared now.

Position Assessment: Us freshman are starting to get the hang of things. We are starting to work more efficiently and effectivly, we are getting our work done and even helping other classes out. We are getting our foot in the door with the student body trusting and believing in us. Everyday we show up with a smile on our face and ready to work. I have really enjoyed to past couple of months
Standing Committee: I was not apart of a Standing committee in the months of November and December.
Special Committee: I was apart of a special committee. At the start of this year we had sold class t-shirts. A lot of kids didn't pick up their shirts. I joined a committee and handed out all of shirts that were not picked up. We got all the shirts taken care of and we don't have to worry about it anymore.
Mentorship Evaluation: My mentor is the best person ever. He works very hard and still finds time to help me out. I have got to know him very well as we are very similar. We both understand each other. We know when the other person needs help and when we should just back off. He answers my questions day and night. He is the best mentor I could have asked for.
Concerns: I am a little concerned about the amount of communication that goes around the class. The freshman are a little left out of the things that are going on. We are being left out and we are a little in the dark.
Positive Comment: The group of Freshman Representatives have come together in high stress situations and pulled through. We worked together and got the job done. We work very well together and have a great time together. We all help each other and pick each other up. We are a very good group of young leaders.
One Change: I would like to see more communication throughout all of leadership. We have been falling behind because we are not all the way caught up.
My Impact: I have been pretty productive since I first started as a freshman representative. We have accomplished a lot in the leadership program. I look forward to learning how to become a professional and getting my name out there.

ASB Report
The freshman class has been working hard and keeping up with the workload that leadership puts on. We have been cruising and we are starting to get the hang of things. The Freshman made it through Winterfest which was pretty stressful, but we made it all work. We also have already started on the Staff VS Student Basketball game. We are ahead of schedule on that and doing good with all the planning. I have been doing pretty good as a Freshman Rep. Over January and February I was not a part of a Standing or special committee. My bond with my mentor has been getting stronger and stronger. He helps me all the time, but I find myself not asking him as many questions as I normally do. This means I’m getting the hang of things, which is good. He’s always there and I;m so thankful for him. Right now my concern is not full participation out of all the members in the program. My class and I have seen multiple members not giving everything they have. My positive comment would have to be the amount of stress the Winterfest brought and we still pulled through, got everything done and it looked good most of the time. One change I would like to see is seeing more communication throughout the class. My impact, I think I keep my class in a good mood and keep us going, I’m kind of the hype guy. The one who makes events fun.

March/April Report
Position Assessment:Over the last couple of weeks I feel I have done a very good job following my job description. I work hard on the things at hand and if I finish I help Morty and Naomi with whatever they need help with. I have packed string bags with a notebook for our CASTL event that we are putting on. I have been working very closely with the rest of my reps to make the Student Vs. Staff Basketball game is a fun event. We have started this since the start of March and have had a lot of planning. I expect a good turn out for it.
Standing Committee: I was put on the fencing committee with Kade and we made sure we had enough rolls and we will need help from other people in the class when we actually have to put the fencing up. We got all the stuff we needed to get done very quickly and efficiently. I have high hopes for the committee that I am a part of.
Special Committee: I was put on the committee to get all the boy players for the Basketball Game. I have gotten a couple. Others we are waiting for their response. I got to work very quickly with the task put to hand and we are getting a lot of Yes’s which is good. I have done a very good job given to me by my peers.
Mentorship Evaluation: I couldn’t be more happy with my mentor. He helps me when it comes to school, leadership, and even sports. We have created such a good relationship and bond. I’m very glad to be able to call him a friend.
Concerns: My main concern right now is not getting full participation from everyone in my grade. This whole year we haven’t gotten the help we need from our reps. I’m sad to see this and hope it gets better now that we are coming to an end.
Positive Comment: I’m glad to see the class come together as one. When I walked into Leadership on the first day of school. We were all separated by grade level now we are just one big happy family. I’m sad to see it come to an end.
One Change: I would like to see my grade have equal workload. Some people in my grade are just going into class and walking out. Not helping or even asking if we need help. They just fly under the radar.
My Impact: I have helped a lot with the Student Vs. Staff Basketball game. I have been in charge of getting players and we are going along pretty well with little to no hiccups. Hopefully it stays that way.

ASB Report
Position Assessment: It has been a wild ride throughout my first year of highschool, with lots of ups and downs. I have faced many challenges and had to persevere through them. But in this last month I have gotten through the challenge, I helped put on the Student Vs Staff Basketball game, and participated in Love Ripon. These were all amazing experiences and I had a great time. I feel like I have done my job well as a Freshman Representative these last couple of weeks. I have grown so much as a person and leader in this Program.
Standing Committee: The standing committee that I was a part of was Fencing. I have been a part of this group for the whole year and this month we took all the fencing down for the end of the year dance. The fencing that was put up wasn’t put up by us but it looked really good. We were very appreciative of the people who put it up and we got the fencing down very quickly.
Special Committee: In these last couple of months I was not a part of a special committee.
Mentorship Evaluation: In this leadership program I have been growing a lot. With me growing and learning I don't need as much help as I used to. So I don’t ask my mentor a lot of questions. But he still checks on me and makes sure I’m doing good and understanding what I am doing.
Concern: My concern right now is not having the right people in the program. This program demands a lot of yourself and some people don’t push themselves to that standard. We have had some people not working all the time or not showing up to help us set up or take down.
Positive Comment: I’m so glad I was able to be a part of this program and I have learned so much. I’m glad to be coming back next year and continuing to learn.
One Change: I would like to see more people step out of their comfort zone, including myself. I never speak up or ask anything and I should. I feel everyone should share their own thoughts.
My Impact: Over the last couple of weeks I have benefited the school a lot. When we hosted the challenge I felt that we had a lot more participation and school spirit rose. I feel a lot of kids are enjoying school and we're looking forward to the dance. And the dance went very well and was super fun. I am making highschool a fun experience for others
